Coming To Rest Meditations

Settling into the Sea Bed (21mins) Merging self and world into Oneness. Asking Who Am I? in the deep stillness of the ocean. Settling deeper and deeper towards the sea bed and resting there.

1) Settling, resting and Grounding. “Give your Body a Break Meditation”. 22mins.

2) Simply resting in awareness of the five senses and observing the essence of change in everything. (23mins)

3) Breathing Anchor style meditation. Being with what is. Approaching life through the Breath. (20mins)

4) Basic Mindfulness ‘coming to rest as the world passes by’ meditation. (19mins)

5) Largely unguided ‘Resting with What Is’ Meditation (15mins).

6) Constructive Rest Meditation (short 13min version for when you are short of time!)

7) Constructive Rest Meditation (see document below for more information). A deep 38min meditation full of water and flow imagery (somewhat akin to the osteopathic process of ‘watering the ligaments) and ideal to use before bed in order to cultivate a state conducive to deep restorative sleep.

8) Allowing the body to Be. Allowing in a sense of opening, space, softening and possibility. Allowing in Freedom to Change. (38mins)

9) Deep intense Body scan. Many releasing techniques. (28mins)

10) Body scan – breathing in space to each vertabrae. Allowing the body to completely relax as it wishes without any correcting from you. Balancing the sides of the body through the light of awareness so the body can lie flat and enter homeostasis to allow in healing. Mini-me makes an appearance as well as other releasing techniques. Relabelling pain and inviting in flow to release stuck energy. (28mins)

11) Grounding Meditation (25mins) for those days when you do not feel yourself. Using light and grounding techniques in self compassion.

12) Coming to Rest in the Space and Connection with inner and outer world and the people in it (advanced meditation) (38mins).
